Ted Baker - Typographic illustration - inspiration.

I wanted to try out some more decorative type for the Ted Baker brief and use limited amount of imagery, just a few monotone vectors was the idea, so I set out to find some current examples of what I liked and what I was trying to get across to Gemma who I am collaborating with on this brief. Finding the examples of what the sort of idea I was trying to aim for really helped us bring our heads together and realise what each of us wanted to achieve out of the brief. It also lended to Gemma's strengths as her main interest is illustrative type so bonus!!

Ted Baker - current window display in meadowhall - PLANarama

Took this photo as I was passing the Ted Baker store in meadowhall at the weekend, current display is Spring Chicken. Great movable 3D pieces with a graphic wallpaper back drop. Crap photo quality but great research for Ted Baker competition brief to see the potential of what can be achieved. Wish I had to the money to create massive mechanical chickens :P hehe
