Alex from the Consult came to chat to us in January and should be popping in again, I hope I get chance to sign up and show him my work this time and hopefully grab a few moments to discuss my design context. The projects he showed us last time are different to the ones I am blogging about, however he showed the Church of England advertising campaign. I like the briefs The Consult work on, they work for a varied number of clients so get to work on design for the public sector etc and the private sector for individual businesses etc. Here are some images of the projects I like the most, mainly for the layout or typography used. I like the clean crisp modern feel to a lot of The Consult's design work and they push formats just that little bit further than some other designs I've seen for similar clients by other studios. I suppose this could be due to budgets set by the client but they are really great to look at! I also came across the degree show promo they did for Leeds College of Art 3 years ago, strange seeing it again as I got the invitation after applying for the course I am on now and went to that show! So long ago, but yet also weirdly not that long. Now I'm going to be preparing for my part in our degree show! exciting stuff! anyway back on track here is the work...
